And We’re Back. Again.

For those of you interested, David got the kinks worked out of his site!  He’s got a nice little post on rocks right now.  :)

We’re getting ready for Mother’s Day around here but I wanted to leave you with a new tidbit.  I’m sure you’ve heard that when you are planting a tree, you should dig a $50 hole for a $5 tree.  The idea being that if you dig a really great hole, plenty big for the tree, then the tree will grow.  Even an expensive tree won’t grow in a cheap hole.  We’ve stumbled upon a way to measure the expense of the hole – if 2 kids can sit down in the hole, its probably big enough.

What kind of tree did you plant? Great idea with those two cuties in the hole:)

  2. That one was a cherry tree (pie cherries) and we also got one plum tree in, in a similarly sized hole (e.g. two kids).
