Spring has sprung, the chickens go outside and the veggies have started to grow. I’m kind of astonished, but I’ll roll with it for now. There’s a lot more that we need to do but its nice to stop and have a look at what is happening.
The chickens are getting used to coming outside:
The onions and garlic are up:
The tiny asparagus spears are growing surprisingly fast:
Here come the sugar snap peas:
And the buttercups are everywhere…







Picking wildflowers for my mom is a favorite memory. She loved getting the first buttercups of the season. It’s nice to see the tradition continues!
Spring has sprung!
Wow. I am very, very impressed. Those photos represent a LOT of effort on your parts…and all well worth every minute, I might add.
Cool! If I had green garlic in my garden I think I’d have a hard time not pulling it up and eating it right now! Luckily I do have some in my fridge though. :)
