Buying Handmade
I’ve just discovered the website Etsy.com and I love it. Its a site for people to sell their handmade crafts and art and there are some really neat things on it. I just ordered the Nerdy Baby ABC’s from an artist in Georgia and they’re great!
I also bought my kiddos their mittens and mitten clips from Etsy - I’d rather give my money to a couple of nice sisters in Tennessee rather than a large corporation in China who doesn’t really care if there is lead or pthalates in their products.
Obviously, its not for everything but its a nice alternative!
