I was shopping for presents for my grandchildren in a very nice, boutique toy store. I couldn’t find anything that wasn’t ‘Made in China.” I was about to give up but asked the clerk behind the counter if she could help. She brought out a little notebook with a handwritten list of the few toys in the store that weren’t made in China. Clearly, I wasn’t the first person to ask! I was able to choose some puzzles and books that were made in the EU and the USA.

If enough people ask, I bet they’ll be buying more American and EU made toys–and advertizing that they carry these toys!
