We found another great thing to use for cloth diapers in an older baby – flushable rice paper liners from Imse Vimse . You put them inside the diaper when you’re expecting a poop, and it makes clean up a breeze. You just flush the liner and very little poop is left on the cloth. We’ve found it great to have on hand after a watermelon eating extravaganza, for example :)

They have been invaluable while traveling and at the office for our nanny – anywhere where a toilet sprayer is not available really.

They still keep to our ethic of minimal environmental impact because they flush and are completely biodegradable. I also figure that anything that helps keep using cloth diapers is a good thing.
