We’re making progress on the garden plot. Turns out that horse farms have lots of manure they want to get rid of for free. That’s right, they’re giving that stuff away for FREE! Who knew? :)
David found a guy off of Craigslist with a dump truck who would haul it for us – which cost some money but saved us driving the pickup back and forth 6 times and about 6 hours of shoveling. We’ll probably get about 2 more loads delivered and then I think the ground will be as ready as we can make it before time to plant.
I’ve started obsessing over seed catalogs and also trying to keep my hopes for this year’s garden very small. But oh, its so hard. I really want to grow everything! Baby steps, baby steps…
Heh, “dirt.” Is that what the kids are calling it these days? Making a garden is sure fun!
Also, judging by the comments on the puppy post, versus the comments on this poop post, puppies are more popular than poop. Or something :-P
